Links-to-Literacy
The Links-to-Literacy Partnership is a major citywide initiative to encourage children to read books on their own, to institutionalize independent student reading as an integral part of the reading instruction program of Chicago’s schools, and to build permanent partnerships to encourage independent student reading among schools, libraries, and families. Since the 1993-94 school year, Designs for Change has been a major active partner and leader in Links-to-Literacy.
